Fun, loving & enriching after school care in Imizamo Yethu

Supporting social-emotional & academic development and innovation in our community.

Imizamo Yethu Learning Hub is a state of the art facility built in 2024 to take in children after school and give them as many opportunities for learning and development as possible in the 5 hours they could be home alone waiting for their care givers.

Relying on your donations, we are able to holistically invest in a child’s future using programmes such as performing arts, sports, creative thinking, life skills as well as supporting their school work.

Local mentors for local kids

Our ever evolving and passionate team support our children in so many ways.

They’re the kind face greeting children with a hug when they arrive, asking questions to challenge children to think in new ways, and the goalkeeper in a game of soccer!

Support for Communities

Education & development happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the centre to help families have the necessary support to provide and thrive.

“We can’t change our schooling system in South Africa, but we can enrich our children after school to think differently, to love themselves and others and be confident that their future is worth working on
